The following permit services are available from American Transportation Services and may be ordered by telephone, fax or the web:
Oversized/Overweight Permits
Oversize/overweight permits are issued by most states up to a stated maximum load limit, and grants permission to haul a load which exceeds standard vehicle dimensions. |

Temporary Registration (Trip) Permits
A trip permit is a temporary trucking permit which grants permission for a truck to travel within a particular state when annual licensing fees have not been pre-paid to that state. |

Fuel Permits
A fuel permit is a temporary permit which grants permission to travel within a particular state where the trucking company does not have an active fuel tax account. |

Specialty Permits
Hunters Permit: Issued to owner/operators who were leased to a company but have lost their lease and, as a consequence, do not have any registration permits. These permits are only good if the tractor is bob-tailing.
